What you will be doing

The Senior Marketing Coordinator will support brand marketing across Albertsons Media Collective initiatives, with a focus on holistic project coordination across the following business areas: Executive thought leadership, industry events, media relations and public relations (PR). This role is focused on storytelling, thought leadership, industry event support, PR efforts and logistics support to drive share of voice and business objectives for The Collective.

The position will be based in Boise, Idaho, or one of our main regional offices (Seattle, WA, Portland, OR, Pleasanton CA, Denver CO, Dallas TX, Chicago, IL, or Fullerton, CA, Phoenix, AZ). 

Main responsibilities

Implement processes for all industry event thought leadership and PR logistics, finding ways to improve and evolve over time.  Communicate complex, technical stories in a streamlined manner, with an emphasis on storytelling through excellent written communication tailored to different channels. Maintain internal documentation, including calendars, briefs, overviews and more to organize thought leadership and PR efforts. Support thought leadership efforts for executives— interface with event organizers, coordinate briefing sessions, build detailed briefs, manage session scheduling, organize thought leadership opportunities, manage all logistics and holistically oversee thought leadership efforts. Keep a detailed calendar and holistic documentation of thought leadership, PR and media opportunities.  Assist with conception, creation and execution of integrated marketing and public relations campaign strategy. Be able to tell a holistic story. Develop and update messaging for Collective product and capabilities for successful storytelling across channels. Synthesize information in a strategic manner to tell meaningful stories Mange briefing process for thought leadership (panels, fireside chats, stages), interviews across brand marketing opportunities.  Be a steward of the Albertsons Media Collective brand, bringing the brand and voice to life across marketing efforts and through industry events. Identify opportunities to advance marketing efforts for Albertsons Media Collective with partners and news media outlets. Support LinkedIn content, highlighting key industry events, thought leadership, media relations and other notable efforts to elevate The Collective through this channel. Build meaningful internal and external relationships across marketing efforts to drive the business forward in creative and impactful ways. Schedule and organize multiple business functions daily, including brief drafting, copy editing, content reviews, industry event logistics, thought leadership support, media relations support, strategic storytelling and more. Implement processes to streamline coordination and balance multiple priorities effectively. Support holistic marketing and PR strategies across channels, while working closely with a variety of key stakeholders to activate successfully. 

The salary range is $54,600 to $71,040 annually. Starting salary will vary based on criteria such as location, experience, and qualifications. There may be flexibility for exceptional candidates. Benefits may include, medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, sick pay, PTO/Vacation pay/Flexible Time Off, paid holidays (8-9 days annually) bereavement pay and retirement benefits (such as 401(k) eligibility).

What we are searching for 

Bachelor’s or Associates Degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, English, Journalism or related. 1-3 years relevant experience.  Demonstrated organization skills and experience implementing and establishing processes for optimal work. Experience in holistic project coordination. Experience communicating effectively through high-quality writing. Keen attention to detail in all facets of work. Ability to manage time and workflow successfully to achieve multiple objectives simultaneously.  Brings to the position outstanding organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, while meeting deadlines with an emphasis on effective prioritization. Experience with event planning and logistics. Holds a solutions-focused and growth mindset
