The Amazon Ads Marketing Operations team is looking for an experienced Sr. Operations Program Manager to lead the operations function of our owned channels, identifying and developing new processes and programs to help us scale. This role will and be responsible for productivity and efficiency goals, driving scalable improvements across the project lifecycle, and developing new solutions for key programs like AI integration and production training. This is a highly cross-functional role where you will have to partner with and influence global stakeholder groups across marketing, editorial, UX, product, and engineering teams.
The ideal candidate must be an effective leader with excellent communication skills (verbal and written), and be able to operate at the strategic level (generating bold and innovative ideas for growth) and at the tactical level (writing documents, analyzing data, and solving problems). This role will have the opportunity to help shape a core experience on the website for our team. Key job responsibilities
* Own global operations for the Ads Marketing, including tools, processes, training, and communication.
* Define, prioritize and plan the execution of strategic initiatives on our owned channels and roadmap items, identifying potential obstacles and surfacing solutions.
* Triage and prioritize internal requests from global stakeholders against roadmap items and assign to relevant owners; schedule and secure resources and manage cross-functional teams to deliver.
* Create mechanisms with a focus on automation and scalability to drive operational effectiveness and cross-functional collaboration, and share learnings and best practices.
* Develop metrics to track productivity and efficiency, identify and implement improvements based upon data, and share in weekly and monthly reporting.
* Own training resources and SOPs for bar raising programs and operations team.
* Establish mechanisms to deliver clear, consistent, and frequent communication with stakeholders to ensure ongoing visibility on communication strategy, tactics, goals, and performance.
About the team
The Amazon Ads Marketing Operations (MarkOps) is responsible for driving marketing processes, management, and optimization. MarkOps is a critical step that links the Ads team’s market strategy to action through the creation and management of marketing materials that drive the desired outcome. Our vision for MarkOps is to create an interconnected internal infrastructure that facilitates the delivery of "fewer, bigger, better" campaigns
Basic Qualifications
- 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
- Experience communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
- Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience creating and executing integrated marketing lead generation campaigns using tactics that include live or virtual events, webinars, email, lead nurture programs, and CRM/sales insights
- Experience with Salesforce and Tableau

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $112,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $186,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
