Sr. Marketing Scientist, Kvantum

Who is Kvantum?

Kvantum by Yum! is an artificial intelligence-based consumer insights and marketing performance analytics business (part of Yum! D&T division) focused on deploying proprietary algorithms and machine-learning models to help brands understand consumer behavior and make informed media, promotions, and pricing decisions.  Kvantum serves mainly internal brands around the globe (Taco Bell, Pizza Hut, KFC, The Habit Grill) and serves select Fortune 100 brands, as well. 

Job Overview:

As a Sr. Marketing Scientist II, you will play a crucial role in advancing our analytical capabilities within the Kvantum acquired business. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement cutting-edge statistical modeling techniques to tell a story about marketing performance, that support marketing decisions You will oversee the end to end delivery of Marketing Mix (“MMM”) models, ensuring they meet the complex needs of Yum! Brands, franchisees, and external Fortune 100 companies.

Responsibilities:

Leverage understanding of statistical techniques and hypothesis development to design tests/ experiments, analyze data, draw conclusions with actionable recommendations to help Yum! it’s Brands & Franchisees, and external Fortune 100 companies with data-driven decision making. Customize the Kvantum’s propreitary tool for automated data mobilization. Identify optimal marketing channels and provide actionable recommendations. Engage with Kvantum teams and clients around data mobilization, requirements, and project milestones. Drive thought leadership, stay updated with new technologies, and optimize efforts towards business KPIs through experimentation and analysis. Prepare and validate data for loading into the Kvantum platform; conduct initial data analysis to determine optimal variables for marketing mix models. Design tests and experiments using advanced statistical techniques, transform variables for marketing/media mix or attribution models, and utilize various regression models and industry benchmarks to finalize models. Ensure high-quality deliverables to drive client satisfaction and retention, support media planning with predictive models and optimization scenarios, and manage multiple clients to ensure high satisfaction and revenue growth. Most importantly, deliver powerful brand stories using model outcomes!


Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Marketing Communications, Economics, Business Analytics, Business Management, or a related field. 8+ years experience in business analytics (sales, marketing, customer, pricing) with a proven track record of client management. Advanced statistical analysis and MMM modeling experience. Exceptional client management skills and the ability to manage multiple clients across time zones and verticals. Strong problem-solving abilities and a collaborative mindset. Excellent presentation and data visualization skills.

Preferred Requirements:

Understanding of AI and machine learning for optimizing marketing models. Familiarity with statistical algorithms used in marketing, customer, pricing, and sales analytics.

Salary Range: $­­104,000 to $135,000 annually + bonus eligibility. This is the expected salary range for this position. Ultimately, in determining pay, we'll consider the successful candidate’s location, experience, and other job-related factors.
