Job Description:
About the Role:
The primary role of the Sr. Master Scheduler is to oversee master scheduling and lead finite schedulers for assigned categories.
Maintains long term people, capacity plans and production schedules to ensure the efficient delivery of inventory, service, and cost objectives.
Generate weekly/monthly production and capacity plans using systems and processes that support the organization’s goals .
Maintain data integrity in systems to facilitate efficient inventory and capacity management, customer service, and operational metrics.
Lead Supply Review monthly category level SIOP/IBP process.
Utilize systems to proactively identify and communicate key drivers and proposed solutions to service and inventory issues.
Track and reconcile weekly/monthly metrics versus established targets. Review production performance and update planning rates to accurately reflect plant capabilities and available capacity.
Maintain, review, and update all monthly inputs used to calculate safety stocks and inventory targets.
Work cross-functionally with Sales, Business Units, Supply Chain, Customer Service, and Operations to ensure cross-functional alignment and meet company objectives.
Make recommendations to enhance business processes and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiencies.
Support Annual Operating Plan process for designated categories.
Important Details: This is a full-time permanent position located at our Oak Brook, IL corporate office, or our Hanover, PA or Lancaster, PA manufacturing facilities.
About You:
You’ll fit right in if you have:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Statistics, Operations Research, or related field preferred.
3+ years of relevant experience in production planning or detailed scheduling required.
Experience in leading others preferred.
Experience with supply planning software; working knowledge of SAP preferred.
Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills required. Advanced preferred.
Intermediate PowerBI skillset preferred.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to clearly communicate verbally and in written form.
APICS or CPIM certification a plus.
Working knowledge of SIOP/IBP processes and procedures.
