Senior ME Prototype Engineer
Position Overview:
Logitech seeks an enthusiastic Senior ME Prototype Engineer to support our engineering, product development, reliability, and R&D teams. The Senior ME Prototype Engineer will develop mechanical 3D models and prototypes to be used for cosmetic and engineering validation. Experience with CAD, 3D printing, woodworking, cosmetic finishing and programming/operation of a CNC mill & CNC Lathe will be required for this position. The materials used in the shop include, but are not limited to wood, metal, plastic, foam, RTV resins, paints, adhesives, and 3D printing materials.
Additional duties will include coordinating safety training for new lab users, enforcing safety and housekeeping standards, and maintaining materials inventory. Suitable candidates will exemplify a positive, can-do attitude while managing competing priorities and be adept at providing clear and concise communications with project stakeholders across the organization.

Professional relationship with external suppliers

Interpreting Technical Drawings and Specifications
Required Skills:
Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong commitment toward safety, coworkers, company guests, etc.
Ability to prioritize effectively with minimum supervision
Effectively interact and communicate with internal customers/ associates
Detail oriented when completing documentation to ensure accuracy
Accurately construct prototype models with required level of precision
Legibly writing and recording critical information

Ability to design fixtures, or 3D models supporting engineering requests

Education and/or Experience:
Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required.
Minimum 4-5 years experience in CNC operation, CAD Design, fixture design, and prototype construction is required.

This position offers an annual base salary typically between $ 95,600 and $ 138,700. In certain circumstances, higher compensation will be considered based on the business need, candidate experience, and skills.
