Key Responsibilities:
The Senior Production Manager is critical in ensuring that the opto-electronic production process meets both quality and volume standards while adhering to cost-efficiency and safety protocols. This role oversees 24/7 manufacturing operations, is highly demanding and requires a blend of technical expertise, managerial skills, and a focus on continuous improvement.
Operational Management:
Supervise the day-to-day operations of the wafer fabrication process, ensuring that it runs smoothly and meets production targets. Monitor equipment, production schedules, and staffing levels to ensure the facility is operating efficiently meeting cycle time and align with goals and performance metrics.Provide support to improve manufacturing processes to optimize yield, reduce waste, and improve throughput.Develop and execute manufacturing strategy aligned with Company goals.Team Leadership and Development:
Lead and manage a team of Supervisors and operators working on the production floor to maximize output.Provide guidance and mentorship to staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and resources to perform their roles effectively.Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement among the team.Work with PCMC to ensure the facility maintains proper stock levels and works within budget constraints.Quality Control/Zero defect:
Partner with Quality team and embed zero-defect quality mindset to meet shipment of quality products.Provide feedback to Engineering for continuous improvements.Cross-functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with various departments such as engineering, quality control, supply chain, and production planning to meet production goals.Compliance and Safety:
Ensure the facility adheres to safety regulations, environmental standards, and industry certifications (such as ISO standards).Ensure that all equipment is maintained in accordance with safety and operational guidelines.Required Skills and Experience:
Process know-how: Good understanding of opto-electronics manufacturing processes, including photolithography, etching, deposition, and epitaxial growth process.Leadership: Strong management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop teams, make strategic decisions, and resolve conflicts effectively.Problem-solving: Ability to identify and address operational challenges, improve efficiencies, and innovate within the production process. Strong knowledge of manufacturing systems, quality control methodologies and safety regulations.Education and Qualifications:
Five - seven years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing or a related field and experience in supervisory or management roles. BS degree and/or related manufacturing experience in a leadership role.Experienced in producing reports to report manufacturing activities and improvement recommendation.Experienced in managing Class 100-1000 Clean room environments.The Senior Production Manager is critical in ensuring that the semiconductor production process meets both quality and volume standards while adhering to cost-efficiency and safety protocols. Pay Range:
P70-USA-1 :$124,600.00 - $178,000.00Disclaimer:
