Job Description:

The Sr Manager of NA Facilities Category Management and Supplier Performance role is crucial in fostering strong partnerships with vendors and aligning with our corporate objectives.  Create relationships with BU leaders, team members, and vendors to utilize experience, good collaboration, and communication to build and maintain strong vendor relationships.  Vendor relations manager will support current Contract vendors and assist bringing BU’s, Global Procurement, and vendors together to renew or establish new contracts supporting BU needs.  This Role involves establishing a foundation of trust, open communication, and collaboration with vendors.  The manager invests time and efforts in understanding the vendor’s value, capabilities, and goals creating strong partnerships and through strong communication skills bring that alignment together with the BU Teams to insure both sides are acting in the best efforts to support contracts terms to achieve overall business success.  This role partners with our BU teams and our Vendor teams to support both sides, to generate collaboration and open discussions to improve the quality of our relationships that will ultimately maximize the value of our contracts, relationship, and economics.  By improving relationships and communication this role will enhance team productivity, bring financial savings, improve service levels including equipment up-time, and ensure easy visits for the consumers at our stores each day.   This role must facilitate a high degree of collaboration and communication to bring global, local teams, and vendor stakeholders together to ensure alignment and remove the barriers to success.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

•Support Business Unit teams with contract vendors to maximize contract value and insure the best opportunity for success on both sides.•Create a schedule and process of Business review with vendors to understand, address, and challenge to drive value.  This will include tracking contract terms and SLA standards.•Vendor relationship management to ensure savings from RFP are realized and Facility teams have established proper connections for service work and parts/equipment.•Support the all teams with reports, data, and tools to help the teams function more efficiently and to work towards standardizing the best practices across the business units. •Support vendor acceptance and use of Nuvolo throughout North America.•Support and track Preventative Maintenance standards for Fuels, HVAC, and Food/Bev equipment to improve quality, performance, and uptime.   •Support tracking of equipment warranty and lifecycle management for Fuels, HVAC, and Food/Bev equipment in conjunction working with Nuvolo team for support. •The purpose of this role is to manage company relationships with vendors that supply goods or services.  •Monitoring performance: Tracking vendor deliverables and service level agreements to ensure they meet expectations and drive contract value.•Building relationships: Establishing trust and open communication with vendors and internal stakeholders.  •Managing relationships: Maintaining relationships with vendors and suppliers, gathering feedback from working teams on vendor performance.•Quality control: Ensuring quality control and timely delivery of resources, goods, and services.•Reducing risk: Reducing vendor-related risks and developing risk management procedures.•Cost analysis: Conducting cost analyses and setting benchmarks for improvement. •Communicating: Communicating with management regularly regarding the flow of goods and services •Collaborate with BU Facility / Construction resources to align on Standard Materials, equipment, and specs to ensure BU’s and vendors are getting maximum value and benefits by purchasing correctly.  •Lead team calls with Business units and vendors.  Scheduling calls to meet timelines and support BU needs.•Report progress and effectively document and implement all learnings. Create alignment with Business Units on findings and opportunities.  •Analyze effectiveness and performance of vendor data to maximize contract value.•Plays a key role to ensure optimal collaboration and communication with key stakeholders with vendors, business units, and leadership networks.  •Partner with Financial Analyst and other teams in creating and obtaining AFE approvals for special projects to support business needs.•Flexible with working hours and travel to support all global ways of working.

EXPERIENCE

•Extensive experience in leadership, team building, project management and training.•Strong skills in collaboration, cooperation, communication and organization•Minimum 5 yrs experience working in Facilities. •Strong communication skills in English, both verbally and written•Ability to influence others to accept practices and approaches. Ability to communicate and influence executive leadership

EDUCATION

Higher relevant education (5 years) or experience equivalentProject Management training or competenciesCategory Management training or competencies a plusFluent in English (oral and written)
