Sr. Network Administrator

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Network Administrator to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing L2 tickets and above, with expertise in server infrastructure, hardware, networking devices, and network security. This role will involve supporting and enhancing our current IT infrastructure, including patch management, technical audits, and vulnerability remediation, in accordance with Milliman policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Incident Management: Handle L2 and above technical support tickets, providing efficient troubleshooting and resolution of issues related to server infrastructure, networking, and hardware. Server Infrastructure Management: Manage and maintain Active Directory (AD), DHCP, and other server-related tasks to ensure optimal performance and security. Network Management: Design, implement, and maintain network devices and security protocols, ensuring a robust and secure network infrastructure. Patch Management: Oversee the deployment and management of Qualys patching across servers and endpoints, ensuring compliance with security policies. Monitoring & Reporting: Utilize monitoring tools to track infrastructure performance, identify potential issues, and create reports to inform management of the infrastructure status. Asset Management: hands-on experience with tools like Lansweeper for IT asset discovery and inventory management. Device Management: Implement and manage Intune for endpoint management Identity Management: Collaborate with the team to manage Okta for identity and access management, ensuring secure user access across the organization. Technical Audits: Conduct regular technical audits to assess compliance with internal policies and industry standards, identifying areas for improvement. Vulnerability Remediation: Work closely with teams to remediate vulnerabilities in the infrastructure, aligning with Milliman’s security policies and best practices.Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT infrastructure support, with a focus on server management, networking, and security. Strong knowledge of Active Directory, DHCP, monitoring tools, and network security practices. Hands-on experience with Qualys for patch management. Proficiency in asset management tools like Lansweeper and endpoint management with Intune. Familiarity with Okta for identity management is preferred. Experience in conducting technical audits and vulnerability remediation. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Preferred Skills:
Experience with network infrastructure design and implementation. Knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices. Certifications such as MCSE, CCNA, or relevant security certifications are a plus.What We Offer:
