SMX is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Network Engineer to support ACIC at Fort Meade, MD. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background and the ability to manage and maintain complex network infrastructures. This position requires a TS/SCI clearance and the willingness to undergo a CI Polygraph.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Design, implement, and manage network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security. Troubleshoot and resolve advanced network issues. Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate network solutions with other systems. Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations and changes. Mentor and provide guidance to junior network engineers. Ensure compliance with security protocols and procedures.Required Skills, Experience & Education
30% overseas travel required Minimum of 7 years of experience in network engineering. Strong knowledge of routing, switching, and network security. Proficiency in configuring and managing firewalls, VPNs, and other network devices. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Active TS/SCI clearance and willingness to submit to a CI Polygraph. Certifications CCNP and Security+ce, or equivalent.Desired Skills, Experience
