Sr. Network Manager Payroll Operations
Job Details:

Job Summary:

Oversee the performance of the payroll in processing of all payroll responsibilities across the network. Assist managers in each location in streamlining processes, creating guidelines for auditing, assisting Sr Network Director in enhancing payroll operations, improving operational efficiencies, integrating payroll platforms and procedures across the network to be in line with organization and industry standards. Will directly manage payroll staff in Valhalla and assist Payroll Director with payroll processing.

Responsibilities:

Oversees the day to day administrative process for Valhalla, and interacts with payroll managers across network for streamlining of processes Interact with department managers in relation to payroll related issues. Assist Network Sr Director with all payroll ERP’s Supervises the auditing of payroll to ensure compliance with garnishment, tax changes, and tax compliance as well as federal and state laws Acts independently and in conjunction with the payroll vendor to resolve all payroll inconsistencies timely and accurately Implements improved automation to maximize payroll productivity and quality, conducting special studies as required Conducts ongoing audits of various payroll databases Works with the Human Resources Department and Benefits to integrate data to ensure best overall organizational practices Qualifications/Requirements:

Experience:

At least 2 years of managerial experience in payroll required.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree , required.

Licenses / Certifications:

FPC or CPP certifications a plus

Special Requirements: : Through Knowledge of the following: automated staff scheduling and timekeeping processes and applications excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work across multiple functions and disciplines communications or basic electronic terminology and communications software; automated compensation systems and procedures payroll and payroll tax issues federal and state laws such as Fair Labor Standards Act, ERISA, Social Security Act, and Unemployment Insurance benefit programs and their deduction rules principles of payroll auditing; ability to identify, analyze and resolve complex issues; ability to identify future issues, risks and opportunities as they relate to payroll administration assess implications of policy decisions for payroll ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing interpret complex statistics and present logical reports; gather and organize pertinent data and to draw appropriate conclusions ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships ability to instruct subordinates and departmental representatives in program procedures ability to supervise, plan and coordinate the work of subordinates and ensure completion of assigned tasks; ability to effectively use computer applications such as Microsoft applications; tact; sound judgment; integrity; resourcefulness; accuracy; thoroughness; physical condition commensurate with the demands of the position.
