Job Description Insight Global is seeking a fully remote Network Security Specialist to join one of your largest water solutions companies. In this role, you will take a hands-on approach to enhancing our network infrastructure and supporting network security initiatives with a strong focus on factory segmentation, switch configuration, and firewall management. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement automated network solutions and ensure robust network security in industrial environments. Key Responsibilities: Factory Segmentation and Network Configuration:  Lead hands-on implementation of network segmentation projects in factory environments.  Configure and optimize switches, VLANs, and subnets to enable secure and efficient network segmentation.  Implement and troubleshoot firewall rules and access control lists (ACLs) to align with factory segmentation goals.  Conduct thorough testing of segmentation designs to validate security and operational effectiveness. Network Security Projects:  Develop and implement network security measures tailored for industrial and factory networks.  Perform detailed risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify and mitigate potential threats.  Collaborate with security teams to enforce robust security policies and ensure compliance with industry standards. Monitoring and Reporting:  Utilize advanced monitoring tools to oversee network performance and identify security breaches.  Generate actionable reports on network health, segmentation success, and security compliance. Documentation and Training:  Develop comprehensive documentation for switch configurations, firewall rules, and segmentation practices.  Provide training and guidance to team members and stakeholders on network security best practices in industrial environments. Continuous Improvement:  Stay up to date of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in network automation and security.  Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance security and operational efficiency.
