Sr. Operations Manager, Distribution Center
Gopuff is seeking a Senior Operations Manager to join the Distribution team.  We are looking for a self-starting, collaborative leader with a strong technical background to drive process improvement across the North American Distribution Network.  The Senior Operations Manager role is a solutions-oriented and customer-driven role within Gopuff that requires ownership, bias for action, innovation, and enthusiasm for the challenge.  In this role, you will manage our Third Party Distribution teams and lead a team of Area Managers specializing in network quality. Ultimately, the success of the Distribution Network is determined by your ability to manage cost, prioritize inventory accuracy, and ensure service excellence to our MFCs. QualificationsMinimum 7+ years of relevant experience in retail, supply chain, operations, consulting, or data-driven project managementLeadership experience managing teams of 50 or more with a minimum operating budget of $1 mil/yr. Demonstrated ability to manage large onboarding programs to train and onboard high performing employeesDegree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, Management, Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, or a related field a plusAdept at analytical work and the ability to motivate others in a deadline-driven environmentDemonstrated ability to solve complex problems under pressureStrong communication and organization skillsAble to balance attention to detail with swift executionTravel up to 20% of the timeResponsibilitiesSupport your various Third Party Operations teams in their daily efforts to ensure that we have the proper direction for managing day-to-day operations;Build out network metrics and reporting structure to ensure KPIs are being met;Developing a network-wide culture of quality starting with Gopuff’s own Distribution Center;Track daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual metrics to measure success and develop strategies to improve the experience that we deliver to our customers;Develop and oversee upward reporting to ensure Senior level leaders are connected to the network;Acquire top talent through direct involvement in the interview, hiring, and on-boarding process;Ensure your Third Party Partners are operating efficiently and understand company priorities;Assist in contract negotiations; and, maintaining relationships with all Third Party Service Providers $105,000 - $140,000 a yearAt Gopuff, we know that life can be unpredictable.
