Compensation: $70K/yearLocation: Deer Park, TXWork Schedule: M-F / 40 hours+Assignment Duration: Direct hireBenefits: Comprehensive company-provided insurance Responsibilities Providing work procedures & instructions that ensure safe and efficient execution of all tasks, including safe work permits, and lock out tag out proceduresDevelop and implement foundational and primary process to ensure safe reliable and efficient productionDevelop long term and short-term TIP (Tactical Improvement Plan) for production department and integrate into the year Site TIP, including department development & recruitment, productivity, quality, efficiency and HSE improvementEnsure adherence to all site procedures, work instructions and other regulations and guidelines. Walk the talkAdherence to production budget and realize yearly improvement. Adherence to production planning, BOM and realize yearly improvementProcess owner of performance management in production: plan, review and actionsAdherence to budget and to production scheduleEnsure availability and use of MAC’s, driving reduction of gap between MAC and actualsExecution of the primary work processes and the foundations (performance mgt, 5S, SWS) in production; review by Process Confirmation Qualifications A bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in chemical engineering7+ years experience in production, maintenance, quality, direct leadership role in chemical manufacturingLean Six Sigma Green belt or comparable process improvement, problem solving abilities Hardworking, action-oriented, and results drivenProficiency in MS Office suite. Intermediate/Strong skills in Microsoft ExcelExceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
