Sr. Ops Financial Analyst
Description

Fluidra’s looking for a Sr. Ops Financial Analyst to join our team in Sparks, MD.   WHAT YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE  The Sr. Ops Financial Analyst performs the cost accounting function by supporting operations with in-depth business analysis, cost accounting and variance analysis, identification and implementation of cost saving initiatives, analysis of inventory and warranty reserves, freight accruals and forecasting, and overall partnership with the business leaders throughout the organization to improve efficiency of manufacturing operations. Additionally, you will: Perform Cost Variance Analysis (Budget vs. Actual) for Operational Depts and coordinate review meetings with business partners. Perform monthly analysis, accruals and account reconciliations of Inventory Reserves (Excess & Obsolescence, Weighted Average Cost, Net Realizable Value), Warranty and Freight accruals.  Improve operational processes and strengthen internal controls environment through cross-functional coordination.  Perform monthly variance analysis (Actuals vs Budget vs Forecast vs Prior Year) related to Manufacturing and Warehousing/Distribution costs.  Partner with Operations in executing the Cycle Count Program and Annual Physical Inventory Counts. Assist the Finance Manager in partnership with Operations in the preparation of the Annual Budget. Identify, analyze and recommend initiatives to improve profitability and reduce working capital; assist in tracking cost reduction activities for VI (value improvement) initiatives. Support CAPEX approval process by partnering with business leaders and reviewing CAPEX requests. Produces ad hoc analysis and reporting as required. WHAT WE SEEK 5+ years of experience in Finance and Cost Accounting  Strong knowledge of finance, accounting, operations and inventory  Strong written and verbal communication skills    Proficiency with Excel formulas (pivot tables, V look-ups, etc.) Experience working with Hyperion, Epicor and Power Bi is a plus Experience in internal control and process improvements will be highly valued Ability to effectively respond to and interact with multiple levels of the organization and with staff at remote locations Exceptional organizational skills and demonstrated ability to meet deadlines in a fast paced, dynamic, team-oriented environment The role will require regular out-of-state travel (10-20% of the time) EDUCATION Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance WHAT WE OFFER  An exciting opportunity to dive in and begin your career with a company that offers a competitive total rewards package that includes: 3 weeks of paid vacation 11 paid Holidays Full range of health benefits including medical, dental & vision, short & long-term disability 401(K) matching (100% of first 3% contributed, 50% of the next 2%) Health and wellness programs / gym reimbursement Educational assistance up to $7,000 per year Company sponsored FUN events! Generous product discounts WHO WE ARE Fluidra is a publicly listed company focused on developing innovative products, services and IoT solutions for the residential, commercial and wellness pool markets, globally.
