Position Summary
Investigates and processes overage, shortage, and damaged freight at terminal and regional levels. Serves as an OS&D trainer and backup for the terminal.
Major Tasks and Responsibilities
Investigates and resolves high-value exceptions and potential distressed shipments daily.Verifies delivery receipts and collaborates with management to address procedural deficiencies.Analyzes undelivered freight reports to resolve overage, shortage, and damaged issues and clear shipments.Identifies and reviews target accounts with multiple claims due to damage or loss.Conducts investigations with destination terminals to resolve and prevent claims.Collaborates with terminal management to identify and rectify noncompliance in overage, shortage, and damaged procedures to prevent claims and delivery delays.Serves as an OS&D trainer and backup for the terminal.Audits overage, shortage, and damaged policies and procedures for compliance.Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or a related field.5+ years of shipping, logistics, or related experience.Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and transportation application systems.Proficient customer service and computer skills.Willingness to travel within the region.Salary Range: $55,300.00 - $68,000.00 annually, based on experience. This position is bonus eligible.
