COMMUNITY NAME Community Support Office Job ID 2025-222205 JOB OVERVIEWSummary: Directs a team of professionals, including offshore personnel, responsible for conducting the financial close and reporting. Prepares and reviews financial transactions and information to ensure that the accounting ledgers, financial statements, and other financial reporting is complete, accurate, and in compliance with applicable regulations, accounting and reporting standards, and internal policies. Responsibilities also include establishing and maintaining direct relationship with other departments, overseeing offshore personnel and preparing audit schedules and support.

Job Duties:
Performs general accounting activities, including the reconciliation and review of ledger accounts and financial statements.Reviews, analyzes, and reports accounting transactions and ensures the integrity of accounting records for completeness, accuracy and compliance with accepted accounting policies and principles.Trains, supervises, and reviews work prepared by offshore personnel including journal entries and account reconciliations.Provides financial support to other functional groups including forecasting, budgeting, and analyzing variations from budgetAble to effectively translate technical accounting/financial concepts to non-technical audiences when needed.Addresses quality control deficiencies and data errors and works with supervisor to develop and implement process improvements.Assign work duties as required within the payroll accounting area.Upload and reconcile biweekly and weekly payroll entries ensuring they are accurate and complete for both US and CanadaCreate monthly payroll expense accruals for US and CanadaLoad and validate the monthly vacation expense entry balance entry vs vacation database totals.Create JEs related to ADP Adjust mate processes.Oversee all payroll related audit work assign tasks as required.Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree is required, preferably Accounting, Information Systems, or Data Analytics related.Minimum of Five (5) years of reporting related experience either in a financial reporting or Large Payroll DepartmentUnderstanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) is required.Significant experience working with large datasets and expert knowledge of various data analysis software packages and tools (e.g., MS-Excel, SQL, Access, Peoplesoft ERP) ADP GLA ADP EV5 is required.Experience in processing a large payroll.
