As a Senior Payroll Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing across the United States and Canada. You’ll provide essential support for payroll policies, processes, and tools like ADP Workforce Now and ADP Canada, while collaborating with HR, PeopleOps, and Finance teams to maintain seamless payroll operations.
What You’ll Do Time Card Management: Review non-exempt employee time cards to ensure accuracy and compliance in the US and Canada. Training and Education: Conduct sessions with Managers and employees to explain Time and Attendance processes. Payroll Ticket System: Monitor and resolve payroll inquiries while providing first-level support to Managers and employees. Data Coordination: Work closely with PeopleOps, Finance, and other departments to ensure accurate payroll data flow. ADP Time and Attendance: Resolve system issues with ADP for US-based employees. Leave of Absence Processing: Manage and process payroll for LOA employees (US and Canada). Audits and Reporting: Assist with audits and year-end payroll preparation, creating custom reports in ADP as needed. Data Accuracy: Maintain payroll records, reconcile benefit deductions, and manage payroll data feeds between BambooHR and ADP. Canada Payroll Expertise: Full-cycle payroll processing in ADP Canada, including data entry and reconciliations. State and Local Taxes: Assist with SUI/SIT setup and maintain local tax compliance for various US states. Pay Items Management: Enter variable pay items (e.g., commissions, bonuses) and ensure accuracy in Workforce Now for each cycle. HSA, DSA, and FSA Management: Run quarterly reconciliations, manage contributions, and monitor life event changes. Payroll Reports: Run preview and post-payroll reports for US and Canada cycles. Data Audits: Conduct quarterly audits with HR to eliminate data variances (location, department, etc.). Imputed Income and Benefits: Process imputed income, commuter benefits, and gym membership reimbursements. International Payroll Support: Assist with international payroll tasks as needed. Additional Duties: Perform other payroll-related responsibilities as assigned. Skills You’ll Bring Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience with ADP Canada and ADP Workforce Now platforms. Technical Proficiency: Mid-level skills in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookup), Word, and G-Suite tools. Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze payroll data, resolve issues, and suggest process improvements. Multi-State and Canada Payroll Expertise: Comprehensive understanding of multi-state US payroll and Canadian payroll practices. Organizational Skills: Exceptional ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Problem Solving: Proactive approach to identifying issues and providing effective solutions. Team Collaboration: Ability to work independently and thrive in a team-oriented, dynamic environment.
