Sr. Payroll Analyst Job ID 201991 Posted 28-Jan-2025 Service line Corporate Segment Role type Full-time Areas of Interest People/Human Resources Location(s) Richardson - Texas - United States of America **About the Role:** This position coordinates and performs payroll and HR data processing functions for salaried, hourly, union or commissioned employees. You will be responsible for accurate and timely maintenance and audit of master file, payroll related transactions, payroll processing and delivery. You will process special or exception items, including reversals, voids, deductions and quarterly/year-end payroll items. **What You'll Do:** + Administer timely and accurate regular payroll processing items, including on-cycle, off-cycle, commission and bonus items while maintaining strict confidentiality of information reviewed and processed. + Prepare, review and take appropriate action on audit reports to verify data integrity. + Create ad-hoc reports using human resources information systems (HRIS) information. + Administer process and/or documentation to fund payroll related deductions (government agencies, union dues, payroll, etc.) + Research, validate and improve employee data in payroll system delivering a high level of quality customer service. + Work with department members, management and/or employees to identify issues quickly. + Handle all overpayments and recoveries. + Test updates for payroll processing as related to assigned payrolls. + Maintain payroll-related accounts and reconcile complex payroll accounts. + Partner with corporate accounting on all payroll transactions. + Handle all unclaimed property according to the required regulations, guidelines and schedules. + Ensure all unclaimed items are researched quickly and employees are notified of any problems. + Reply to G/L exception requests from Corporate Accounting. + Act as liaison for State, Federal and local payroll audits. **What You'll Need:** _To perform this job successfully, an individual will need to perform each crucial duty satisfactorily.
