**Purpose of Role**
The **Sr. Payroll Specialist** will ensure accurate execution of Under Amour’s North America payroll. This position will function as the primary owner of payroll processing, including adjustments, off-cycle payrolls and internal control audits. The role is involved in improving the operations and contributing to the overall teammate experience from the Payroll Department. This role is responsible for helping to drive continuous improvement across payroll.
**Your Impact**
This position will support payroll processing for North America; other duties may be assigned.
• Process bi-weekly payroll using SAP GlobalView, ensuring payroll compliance with relevant laws and internal policies
• Review and ensure accuracy of payroll inputs (i.e. timekeeping, integration files, manual file uploads)
• Communicate with key stakeholders to resolve any discrepancy with inputs
• Conduct payroll and benefit audits to ensure data integrity
• Answer teammate queries about payroll, leave amounts, tax forms, etc.
• Ensure data accuracy related to tax profiles
• Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for payroll processing; provide support to the Payroll Specialists processing the weekly payroll cycles
• Manage all payroll adjustments, on-demands, and off cycle payroll runs.
• Manage over-payment processes and deductions in arrears
• Execute Quarter- and Year-End adjustments
**Qualifications**
• Proficient knowledge of US & Canada payroll
• Strong creative, analytical and problem-solving skills required; practical approach to solving issues and gaining solution alignment
• Excellent customer service focus and experience
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and navigate sensitive situations
• Communicates well both verbally and in writing with team members of all levels across the organization
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in multiple systems simultaneously
• Ability to establish priorities, work and think independently, and proceed with objectives without direct supervision
• Applicable system (ADP GlobalView) experience, preferred
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Significant experience in Excel, including advanced features (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables)
• Minimum 7 years’ experience with payroll processing, required
• CPP/FPC from the American Payroll Association, preferred
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent payroll experience) in Accounting, Business, Human Resources, or a related field, preferred

+ **Location:** This individual must reside within commuting distance from our **Baltimore, Maryland HQ** office.
+ **Return to Work Designation:** **3** days per week in-office, the remainder of work week remote.

**Base Compensation**
**$69,814.00 - $95,993.70** **USD**
Most new hires fall within this range and have the opportunity to earn more over time. Initial placement within the salary range, however, is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills and experience for the position.
