ABOUT THE JOB:As a Senior People Data Analyst, you will be responsible for developing and driving data-driven people insights (i.e. data analytics, business partnerships, and BI tools) to enhance workforce planning, talent management, and employee engagement. The ideal candidate will have a strong familiarity with data manipulation, survey tools, statistical analysis, and change management. You will report to Manager of People Analytics and will interact with HR functional areas and outside departments functions like IT, and Finance.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING: Develop and maintain a full range of activities associated with People Analytics, process improvement and change management. Design dashboards, reports, presentations, and visual aids designed to educate, inform, and influence the decisions of HR partners and business leaders. Champion data awareness and data driven decision making through data tools and insights gleaned from reporting/analytics. Drive change management efforts to establish data sources of analytical value and ensure HRIS data accuracy. Design, develop, and deliver regular and ad-hoc reports on key HR metrics (e.g., turnover, headcount, performance, diversity, and employee sentiment via employee listening programs such as exit and pulse surveys). Translate complex data into visually appealing presentation formats to be delivered to audiences at all levels. EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS: BA/BS Degree in Industrial/Organizational (I/O) Psychology, Social Science, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred. MA/MS degree is preferred. 2-4 years of experience with data analytics or science, preferably in a Human Resources or people analytics context. Required Skills and Abilities: Briefly outline the specific skills and abilities necessary to perform the job. Strong knowledge in HRIS systems is required. Strong understanding of developing, analyzing, and socializing people-based metrics. Proficiency in data manipulation/ETL and warehouses (i.e. Snowflake, SQL, R) is preferred but not required. Proficiency in data visualization/business intelligence tools and experience in building dashboards (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail and translating complex datasets into actionable insights. Strong communication and presentation skills; having the ability to present data insights to technical and non-technical audiences.
