This is why the Industry cluster team is looking for a BD manager of Automotive Key job responsibilities A Greenfield customer refers to a business or organization with minimal or no current usage of Amazon Cloud Services. AWS believes we possess unparalleled capabilities and an unprecedented opportunity to assist these customers in enhancing or innovating their business applications by leveraging our Cloud-based technologies and services, such as EC2, S3, Aurora, analytics, and AI/ML-based solutions. The GCR Greenfield team is tasked with designing and implementing programs to realize this vision. Role & Responsibilities • Identify trends and needs of Greenfield customers for business process improvement and product/service innovation. Based on a comprehensive understanding of these trends and needs, the Greenfield PM shall design compelling programs, or enhance existing ones, to accelerate customer adoption of AWS products and services. • Manage communication and alignment with global Greenfield and other related initiatives to introduce service offerings into GCR regions. The Greenfield PM may need to create, enhance, or customize offerings to accommodate the specific requirements of the GCR business environment, ensuring effectiveness and efficiency. • Establish and communicate program goals and targets, with clear metrics, based on company guidance and through alignment with stakeholders. The Greenfield PM is responsible for tracking and reporting progress using dashboards and regular reviews, collecting best practices, building success cases to generate enablement assets, and providing insights for the improvement of mechanisms and go-to-market strategies. • Serve the field BD teams and collaborate with functional teams, including product, marketing, partner, solution, and global service, to ensure coordinated efforts across organizations. The Greenfield PM will conduct program briefings, present at customer/partner events, and contribute to AWS GCR thought leadership initiatives. For individuals with disabilities who would like to request an accommodation, please let us know and we will connect you to our accommodation team. \#AWSGCR Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree - 8+ years of experience in customer-facing roles with extensive customer engagements. - 8+ years in program management roles focused on technology-enabled consultative, delivery, and solutions, or in business development roles targeting the enterprise customer market. - 5+ years of experience with cloud technologies, demonstrating deep understanding of public and hybrid cloud platforms. - 5+ years of experience developing, implementing, managing, and executing field programs. Preferred Qualifications - Education: An MBA is desired; a technical background in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics is highly preferred. - Working knowledge of software development practices and data center, infrastructure, networking technologies is highly valued. - Experience: 10+ years in technology transformation, with recent leadership experience in cloud-led technology change program(s). Strong business and financial acumen, coupled with excellent negotiation skills. - Demonstrated commitment to operational excellence and data-driven decision-making. - Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to simplify complex issues and develop scalable solutions.
