Summary: Seeking a Sr. Principal Engineer T&D with extensive experience in heavy equipment manufacturing, tooling and fixture design, and team management.

Requirements:

BSME and 8+ years of experience in heavy equipment manufacturing

Tooling and Fixture Design Experience

Fabricated equipment experience

Familiarity with manufacturing processes and equipment

3D CAD Experience - Creo preferred but not required

Responsibilities:

Manage a group of Engineers responsible for the completion of tooling design and development.

Manage tooling programs to completion with the help of staff and technicians.

Develop designs from engineering specifications, review existing data as required.

Collaborate on project time schedules and major design considerations.

Oversee project schedule and budget.

Provide guidance or mentorship to entry level engineers working on a common project.

Prepare design sketches, assembly drawings, etc for projects.

Develop manufacturing build sequence during design, select required tooling & equipment.

Collaborate in plant layout & workstation design with Manufacturing team.

Identify process limitations & accessibility for Manufacturing purposes during design phase.

Supervise subordinate engineers & technicians as needed.

Research new methods of testing, plan, present & execute them.

Support leadership related to task assignments & delegation of tasks.

 

 

 

 

Pay Details: $40.00 to $60.00 per hour
