Sr Principal System Administrator in infrastructure Workplace Services, collaborate with a team to support fast-paced, critical programs with classified information system capabilities. Success in this role means you are able to develop, implement and maintain secure, cost-efficient environments across various classified programs. Program teams rely on your collaboration and guidance to define computing requirements and create end-to-end solutions to solve complex IT infrastructure problems. Responsibilities to Anticipate: + Provide IT systems administration in a heterogeneous Redhat Enterprise Linux and Microsoft Windows environment.  + Working as a team member in a fast-paced technological environment.   Use troubleshooting techniques to resolve technical problems of a moderate to high scope and complexity to include the integration of hardware and operating systems (OS). + Working with Cybersecurity professionals to maintain security requirements and provide documentation and training on advanced IT processes and procedures and other tasks as assigned. + Develop solutions and documentation to a variety of technical problems. + Must be able to obtain Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 Certification requirements (CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification) within 6 months of start date + Full time 100% Onsite position Qualifications You Must Have: + Typically requires bachelor’s degree and minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience or a master’s degree and minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience. + Must have an active a transferable U.S. government issued TS/SCI security clearance prior to start date and must have ability to obtain a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph. Must be a U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. + Must have Linux systems administration experience to include Red Hat Satellite Server. + Must have Leadership experience + Experience with one of the following: Windows, VMWare vCenter, vSphere, VDI, and ESX virtual computing methods Qualifications We Prefer: + Existing Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph preferred. + Experience with Ansible. + VMware highly desired. + Experienced in Leadership and mentoring of individuals and teams. + Basic Windows experience desired. + Department of Defense Directive (DoD) 8140 / 8570 Certification requirements (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent certification) and an Operating System Certification. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
