Northrop Grumman Defense Systems sector (NGDS) is seeking a Sr. Principal Military Trainer – Sustainment Analyst to join our growing team of diverse professionals at Fort Leavenworth in Kansas. Sustainment Analyst for the U.S. Army's Mission Command Training Program, Operations Group Juliet (OPSGRP-J), as it supports collective training requirements of Army Special Operations units. Provide direct support to the OPSGRP-J Sustainment Warfighting Function Chief. Develop and produce graphic products for After Action Reviews, Mission Command Training (MCT) Workshops, In-Progress Reviews, and briefings. Analyze exercise observations as they apply to the tactical and operational level of war. Research and analyze operations during exercises to ensure conformity with U.S. Joint and Army doctrine, policies, and procedures. Maintain proficiency in Special Operations Force - Conventional Force Interdependence, Integration and Interoperability (SOF-CFI3). Support the MCTP After Action Review (AAR) analysis and production. Serve as a planning team lead responsible for planning, preparation, documentation, and execution of contractor supported MCTP exercises and OPSGRP-J activities. Assist the OPSGRP-J Senior Analyst in completing associated deliverable documents.
Basic Qualifications:
One of the following:Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 8 years of professional and/or military experienceMaster’s degree with a minimum of 6 years of professional and/or military experienceU.S. Army Command and General Staff College or Service equivalentMust have or the ability to obtain a US DoD Secret Clearance.Familiar with Sustainment and Army/Joint Special Operations Forces doctrine.Experience in simulation training and simulation programs used for Army training, scenario development experience.Proficient with MS Office Suite.Preferred Qualifications:
Experience at Battalion or Brigade S-3. US Military SOF background.Graduate degree.Brigade or higher staff officer experience.Hands on experience in the assembly and presentation of Army AARs.Salary Range: $86,300.00 - $129,500.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
