Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Senior Principal Systems Engineer - Mission Effectiveness/Ops Analysis to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within our Systems Engineering organization. This role is located in Melbourne, FL.
In this role, you will support the Systems Engineering Integration (SEI) Integrated Product Team (IPT).

Basic Qualifications:
Must have a Bachelor of Science degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) discipline AND 8 years of related professional/military experience OR a Master of Science degree in a STEM discipline AND 6 years of related professional/military experience, OR a STEM Ph.D. AND 4 years of related professional/military experienceYour ability to transfer and maintain the final adjudicated government Secret clearance, and any program access(es) required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company.Must have experience with operations analysis and/or virtual simulation tools (e.g. AFSIM, Brawler, STK, MATLAB); Must have experience with MBSE modeling products (e.g. Cameo)Must have experience with NGTS, AFSIM, Brawler, and/or FORTRANPreferred Qualifications:
Experience collaborating on projects with multiple teams and managing relationships through effective communication.Advanced degree in Engineering, Operations Research, Mathematics, Physics, or Computer ScienceExperience in weapon system level design, integration, test and evaluationAn understanding of Integrated Air Defense Systems and capabilitiesThe ability to translate Physics/Mathematics models into real-time simulation algorithms and modelsExperience with real time simulation/software developmentExperience working within an Agile workflow using Atlassian Suite products (i.e. Jira, BitBucket)Familiarity with Digital Engineering processesAbility to communicate findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical audiencesActive Top Secret ClearanceSalary Range: $118,600.00 - $178,000.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
