Sr. Process and Equipment Engineer

Direct Hire opportunity for a Senior Process and Equipment Engineer located in Oceanside CA

As a Senior Process and Equipment Engineer you will:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tInvestigate and resolve problems in production including troubleshooting equipment and process problems\r\n\tDesign and build new test equipment, production equipment and processes\r\n\tPerform materials characterization\r\n\tEvaluate product performance and opportunities for improvement\r\n\tPerform root cause analysis of element and membrane product defects and implement short term containment/workarounds and long-term solutions\r\n\tCompile and evaluate test data to determine appropriate limits and variables for process or material specifications.\r\n\tCollaborate with R&D and Operations to take product and equipment improvements from concept to production\r\n\tDefine and conduct engineering tests for experimental data collection\r\n\tDevelop and execute new equipment build, existing equipment modification, and test and acceptance plans\r\n\r\n\r\n

This is a full-time, Direct Hire opportunity.

\r\n\r\n

\r\n\r\n

Ideal candidate will have:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tB.S. (M.S. preferred) in an Engineering discipline\r\n\t7+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment\r\n\tMembrane and element experience \r\n\tRecord of defining and managing manufacturing equipment and process improvement projects to completion. Ability to influence and facilitate process and behavior change\r\n\tProficiency with mechanical design packages (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.)\r\n\tParts and equipment fabrication experience (machining, fabrication, electrical and mechanical assembly, welding, electrical box build)\r\n\tComfortable on the shop floor working with all levels of technical, professional, and managerial staff, operators and technicians\r\n\tWorking knowledge, and hands-on experience with industrial electricity and control systems including Allen Bradley PLC’s and controls integration, programming, and troubleshooting is a plus\r\n\tExposure to statistical process control, DOE, robust engineering methodologies and engineering analysis tools is a plus\r\n\tElectrical troubleshooting skills including demonstrated ability to read and interpret P&ID’s and electrical schematics and diagrams, AC and DC circuit knowledge, ability to perform electrical tests, read results and diagnose and repair electrical problems is a plus\r\n\r\n\r\n

Salary Range: $72,000 - $135,000 per year

\r\n\r\n

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
