Seeking a Mail and Document Wizard to join our Doc Solutions Team.

This in office position is based is in Columbus, OH and collaborates in office 5 days per week.

Key Responsibilities:

Mail Mastery: Open, sort, and process incoming mail, checks, and digital documents. Ensure everything is in tip-top shape.

Scan Savvy: Prep and scan documents according to our service agreements.

Document Dynamo: Handle requests and retrieve historical documents. Manage document storage, including destruction or off-site storage, and keep everything organized.

Tech Troubleshooter: Report any computer hardware or software issues to the right team.

Trainer Extraordinaire: Help train new team members.

Skills and Abilities:

Office Know-How: Familiar with general office procedures.

Imaging Insight: Preferably experienced with imaging and internal documents.

Detail-Oriented: Great at following detailed instructions and recognizing different insurance and financial documents.

Tech-Savvy: Able to operate office equipment like a pro.

Confidentiality Champ: Maintain confidentiality and perform repetitive tasks with accuracy.

As a Senior Processor, you'll have the opportunity to receive and prepare mail and handle and deposit funds. We'll count on you to ensure quality controls are met and to communicate and issues of concern to the appropriate area.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Receives, opens, sorts and processes incoming mail, checks and digital documents. Separates mail and other materials accordingly and reviews documents for quality.

Preps and scans documents per established service level agreements. 

Determines appropriate label for documents. Researches documents where limited information is provided.

Processes requests and retrieves historical documents. Responsible for document management including destruction or off-site storage, including scheduling of boxes, re-filing boxes, rotating documents/photos, etc.

Communicates computer hardware or software malfunction to appropriate systems area (internally or vendor).

May assist with training of new processors.

May perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Reporting Relationships: Reports to Supervisor.

Typical Skills and Experiences:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience: Two years of related work experience, with at least one year in an imaging role preferred.

Knowledge, Abilities and Skills: Knowledge of general office procedures. Prefer familiarity with imaging, internal documents and processes and/or customers. Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions. Good communication skills. Organizational skills and attention to detail with ability to recognize different insurance and financial documents. Ability to efficiently operate office equipment, including personal computer, calculator, fax and copy machine. Ability maintain confidentiality, perform indexing and repetitive tasks with accuracy. 

Other criteria, including leadership skills, competencies and experiences may take precedence.

Staffing exceptions to the above must be approved by the hiring manager’s leader and Human Resource Business Partner.

Job Conditions:

Overtime Eligibility: Eligible (Non Exempt)

Working Conditions: Production environment. Moderate noise level. Ability to twist, turn, bend, stoop and make repetitive motions with hands/wrists. Able to sit for extended periods of time. Able to consistently lift up to 35 lbs. and frequently lift, carry or push up to 80 pounds.
