Sr. Procurement Analyst, MRO

Sr. Procurement Analyst, MRO The Sr. Procurement Analyst, MRO is responsible for all tactical/operational responsibilities from procure to pay pertaining to the designated MRO spend categories. This position is key in identifying and implementing strategies to reduce Total Cost of Ownership. Additionally, the role focuses on process improvement, supplier performance tracking, and utilizing data-driven decision making to support organizational goals. Essential Functions + Analyze MRO spend data to identify cost-savings opportunities and process improvement. + Identify opportunities to reduce Total Cost of Ownership (TCO). + Analyze market conditions and trends to provide insights for decision making and risk management. + Manage RFP/RFQ process from creation to completion and provide supplier selection recommendations. + Manage strategic and operational elements of procure-to-pay, including but not limited to monthly PO creation, spend management, item catalog creation, resolution of PO issues, and ensuring timely supplier payments . + Develop and present category reports for management. + Work cross-functionally within Niagara (with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, QA, Engineering, Finance and IT) to accomplish departmental goals and gain support internally. + When needed, help drive or drive vendor discussions to achieve best results for Niagara including but not limited to: + New relationship formation + Existing relationship management + Negotiation + This position requires travel up to 10%. + Please note this job description is not designed to contain a comprehensive list of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
