In addition to our best-in-class coverage of traditional drawdown funds, you will help drive our expansion into perpetual capital funds, delivering solutions that meet the evolving needs of allocators and general partners.
\nSenior Product Managers at PitchBook are strategists and leaders. In this role, you will be the subject matter expert (SME) and a go-to resource for the Funds domain across the organization. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and data science, to execute a product roadmap that drives measurable outcomes. You will champion client needs, advocate for innovative solutions, and identify new opportunities to elevate PitchBook's Funds capabilities. Additionally, you’ll play a pivotal role in mentoring team members within the Product organization, fostering a culture of growth and excellence.

Primary Job Responsibilities:
\n\nDefine product vision, strategy, and roadmap to increase adoption and engagement of PitchBook products among users\nIdentify opportunities for product innovation and differentiation by working backwards from the customer journey\nManage the product lifecycle from ideation to launch to end-of-life\nDrive the development of products that address the evolving needs of funds, including enhanced support for both traditional drawdown fund structures and the expanding perpetual capital market, while leveraging emerging technologies like Machine Learning, AI, and Natural Language Search (NLS)\nCollaborate with design, engineering, data science, and adjacent product teams to ensure the Funds dataset and capabilities scale and provide meaningful impact to end-users\nActively define product roadmap prioritization and create business cases for new opportunities\nSupport the vision and values of the company through role modeling and encouraging desired behaviors \nParticipate in various company initiatives and projects as requested \n\n\n
Skills and Qualifications:
\n\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, or related field\n5+ years of experience as product manager in the financial services space\n5+ years product management experience creating product strategy, roadmaps, aligning stakeholders, and setting product vision\n3+ year experience working with private market funds preferred\nDeep expertise in fund workflows, including fund structures, investor reporting, and market trends, with exposure to both drawdown and perpetual capital funds\nProven ability to collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams to drive user-centric product innovation\nStrong written and verbal communication skills with cross-functional and executive level leaders\nSelf-directed - sets and meets deadlines, multi-tasks, and prioritizes in a fast-paced environment\nStrong bias for action and a proactive mindset toward problem-solving\nAbility to leverage tools (SQL, Tableau, financial modeling tools, MixPanel, FullStory) to analyze data and drive informed product decisions\nSolid understanding of the convergence of private and public markets and a passion for staying ahead of industry trends\nExperience influencing senior leadership through data driven insights preferred\nSupport the vision and values of the company through role modeling and encouraging desired behaviors \nParticipate in various company initiatives and projects as requested \n\n\n

Compensation
\n\nAnnual base salary: $150,000-$180,000\nTarget annual bonus percentage: 10%\n\n\n
*Starting pay will be based on several factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience. We also have a location-based compensation structure; there may be different ranges for candidates by location.

Working Conditions:
\nWe believe our business and our culture are strongest when we work together in person. We also know that it’s helpful to have some flexibility to work remotely. Most roles work in the office 3+ days/week, and some are expected to work in the office 4-5 days/week. The current expectation for this role is that you are working in the office 3+ days/week and that you are in the office full-time during the training period, for which the length varies by role. During an initial phone screen, the team will discuss expectations for this specific position.
\nThe job conditions for this position are in a standard office setting. Employees in this position use PC and phone on an on-going basis throughout the day. Limited corporate travel may be required to remote offices or other business meetings and events.
