About the team and the role: 

Marketing Technology (MarTech) team is responsible for building the products and technology that power ebay’s marketing engine - across paid and eBay owned channels. We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to join the MarTech team and focus on building and enhancing communication products for eBay owned channels such as email, push notifications, onsite placements, etc. 

The successful candidate will lead the product roadmap for internal marketing technology tools. You will build an e2e workflow that enables a marketing manager / non-technical user to complete their marketing campaigns across channels at scale in an intuitive and frictionless way. You will build the functionalities that enable orchestration of 1:1 personalized communication for the end customer in a way that it unlocks financial, customer lifecycle and user engagement goals. 

Key responsibilities include crafting a product vision, prioritizing and building new features to support ease of use of internal marketing tools, go-to-market plan to drive adoption, and enabling speed to market in launching marketing campaigns. You will be a passionate advocate for internal partners needs (marketing teams) and external customer experiences (buyers and sellers). You enjoy exploring AI and its usage to innovate in the customer marketing technology realm, especially as it pertains to automating and driving efficiencies in internal workflows.

The ideal candidate will have experience in customer marketing technologies and its various functions, a strong product sense, a track record of successful product launches and a curiosity for innovating with new technologies. What you will accomplish:

Develop a product vision, prioritize roadmap and launch features for the MarTech platform’s multi-channel e2e workflow tool to drive highly impactful outcomes that drive financial impact, user engagement and operational efficiencies.

Undertake customer research to understand user needs and supplement with competitive / market research to inform a world class solution.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as UX design, data science, engineering, operations, marketing to define, build and evangelize product capabilities using an iterative "test & learn" approach.

Communicate progress and status updates to partners and leadership.

Monitor key product health metrics and drive insights, champion a data driven decision making & innovation culture within the team.

Function independently with little to no supervision, proactively taking ownership of all aspects of the product.

What you will bring:

5+ years of proven experience in technical product management with a history of impactful product launches. Ecommerce experience and deep understanding of Customer Marketing Technology is highly preferred.

A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a technical or analytical field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or Sciences.

Outstanding work ethic, showcasing personal initiative and the ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced matrixed environment.

Collaboration and communication skills, including at the executive-level.

Proficient in using data-driven insights to influence decision-making.
