Sr. Product Manager, Pricing + Monetization - United States (f/m/d)

Spark Networks is a leading global dating company with a widening portfolio of premium & freemium apps, including Zoosk, JDate, Christian Mingle, Silver Singles, and Elite Singles. Formed in 2017 through the merger of Affinitas GmbH and Spark Networks, Inc., the company operates in 29 countries worldwide. As Spark continues to enhance its brands, we are growing our team with a Sr. Product Manager, Pricing + Monetization.  

Position Overview:

The Sr. Product Manager will be responsible for developing the strategic pricing framework and rapidly executing against a plan to deliver global revenue growth across our brands. It will also be central to broader monetization strategy, including new subscription and a la carte products and related customer experience improvements.   

The role requires high judgement and deep customer obsession to balance user engagement and monetization opportunities in a freemium model. It requires a hands-on dedication with bent toward automation and technology. The right candidate will have comfort working in advanced analytics, A/B testing, subscription economics, and user segmentation.  

 
The ideal candidate has a strong track record of delivery in pricing, product and/or monetization optimization. You must be comfortable dealing with uncertainty and building from-scratch processes in a start-up environment. 

You will be an excellent written and oral communicator who can articulate complicated topics in simple language, synthesize analysis for an executive audience and directly and indirectly lead and influence a diverse group of stakeholders (engineering, marketing, operations, CS). You will be comfortable with building and directing complex quantitative analyses, and leading qualitative research around customer behavior/psychology.  

Responsibilities: Establish, evangelize, and continuously improve our strategic pricing approach  Create and maintain a product roadmap that outlines short-term and long-term goals, features, and enhancements as well as technical infrastructure needs.  Identify market opportunities, assess risks, and make informed decisions to drive innovation.  Understand customer and business trends to optimize and recommend new pricing and monetization frameworks.  Build and maintain healthy relationships with partners and stakeholders in multiple locations (US, Europe + India)
