Amazon is looking for a Senior Product Manager (Technical) to join the Smart Glasses team working to build new best-in-class consumer products. We are an innovative, customer-obsessed team working on big-bets in an innovative environment. As a Senior Product Manager (Technical) on the Smart Glasses team, you will own and lead the definition, development, and launch of the next-generation smart glasses products across hardware and software experiences, and you will play a key role in shaping our strategy and roadmap in this dynamic category. As this role is inherently cross-functional and highly visible to senior leadership, you will work closely and communicate effectively with engineering/science, design, product, and executive teams to drive successful outcomes across our roadmap.
A successful candidate will have a proven track-record of developing and shipping consumer products and features that deliver delightful customer experiences. They are adept at both strategy and execution, and are strong communicators (written and verbal). They are customer obsessed, data-driven, and embody a sense of urgency. They work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment, and are adept at synthesizing a variety of customer needs, technologies, and capabilities into products and experiences that customers love.
Key job responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of a product strategy and vision for the next generation smart glasses devices and services.
- Develop crisp working backwards documents (PR-FAQs) and detailed product requirements that can be used to create product specifications and architecture.
- Lead initiatives throughout various stages of the product lifecycle - from ideation to development to launch - while working cross-functionally across product, engineering, design, and business teams with a hands-on, execution-focused mindset to deliver the product to market.
- Own and define the product roadmap based on team vision and strategy. Understand customer needs and identify opportunities to create or improve products and features. Champion and gain buy-in for the strategy and roadmap by influencing and effectively communicating with internal stakeholders and senior management.
- Proactively identify and resolve issues that may impair the team’s ability to meet strategic, financial, and technical goals.
- Drive decision making and manage prioritization/trade-offs throughout the product lifecycle.
- Stay closely connected to the latest developments in the smart glasses and wearable technology categories, anticipating future trends and opportunities to drive innovation.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA
- Product management (technical) experience shipping complex wearable technology products and experiences

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
