Position Overview
The primary role of the Senior Product Manager, ReSound US is to execute the steps which ensure the successful launch, maintenance, training, and education of hearing aid products, software, and mobile applications within ReSound brands and business channels as assigned in the US market. This involves working in teams that liaise with NA sales management in all channels, corporate and brand product management, NA order management, and global operations, effectively planning launch logistics, executing and communicating results of launch activities. The Senior Product Manager will also work with teams and North American product leadership to identify and recommend new products needed in the NA market for assigned brands and business channels.

Serve as the North American product subject matter expert and as the product resource on all field, training and customer product related questions related to products within the assigned portfolio.Drive and develop needed launch materials and training documents for both internal and external employees and customers while collaborating with subject matter experts.Communicate all new product information to the New Product Introduction (NPI) team so each functional area understands the goals of the product launch, timing, and has the information necessary to align operational activity to ensure a successful launch.Work with cross-functional teams, including global product management and global operations, to identify and implement improvements in product offerings.Analyze performance of released products against NPI forecast, identifying trends, areas of opportunity or action needed to address issues. Identify and quantify new product opportunities for hearing products within the assigned business channel, collaborating with the North American product management team to identify synergies between brands and channels.Understand and proactively communicate the corporate product positioning strategy, the product story, the company’s long term strategic roadmap for the assigned channel’s products & services, current and future customer and market requirements. Proactively gather competitive intelligence on products and software; understand, analyze, and communicate competitive products and strategies in assigned portfolio.Serve as product management expert supporting marketing communication plans.Manage weekly internal communications to assigned sales channels, including planning content, assigning tasks within product management team and distributing on a recurring basis as aligned with channel sales leadership.Work with cross functional teams, assigning tasks, holding team members accountable to complete work satisfactorily and on time.Collaborate with North American product management leadership to support gathering product requirements to ensure appropriate technologies are brought to market in NA.Responsible for reviewing available historical and market information and competitive data and collaborate with finance and sales on a product pricing strategy.Take on other product management duties as assigned, outside of assigned portfolio.Competencies (Knowledge and Skills needed for this position.)

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or equivalent
Experience (if necessary):
Required: Minimum 5 years product management experienceProduct management experience in medical device or healthcare desiredHearing industry experience is a plusTravel (if necessary):
10-15% domestic travel required, potentially 1-2 international trips per year
