Sr. Product Manager - Tech, Alexa Endpoint Experiences
Amazon.com
Interested in joining the team behind Amazon’s Echo devices and experiences? We’re working hard, having fun, and making history!
As a Senior Product Manager - Tech, you will define and build the next generation of media experiences (think audio and video) for Alexa-enabled devices that delight customers and meets all of their multi-device entertainment needs.
This role is inherently cross-functional -- you will work closely with engineering, design, operations, finance and executive teams to bring features and products to market and develop and grow business opportunities for Amazon.com. A successful candidate will be highly analytical, able to work extremely effectively in a matrix organization, and adept at synthesizing a variety of technologies and capabilities into high quality, simple products and applications that customers love.
Key job responsibilities
Conceive of, research, write, and then executive against PRFAQs. Assemble detailed BRDs and coordinate with stakeholders including designers, QA, Customer Support, and Engineering to refine requirements and drive toward launch. Contribute to the media experiences roadmap and determine priorities based upon KPIs, user research, and market trends. Communicate status and recommend options to leadership in meetings and reviews.
A day in the life
Be a part of the team that touches virtually every new Alexa Device program that we create. If media is part of the customer experience, we are involved to ensure a customer obsessed experience. Our workday varies considerably, but often includes: continual review of customer feedback to improve capabilities and quality, attendance in product review meetings and weekly business reviews, analysis of KPIs and other relevant metrics to determine the health of our experiences, and research of new feature concepts and market trends.
About the team
Quite simply, our goal is to help our customers enjoy more of the content that they love, more of the time. We seek to reduce friction and avoid setup burdens to make interactions between our users and devices as magical as possible. We are collaborative and share ideas with each other to help each other solve problems and invent on behalf of our consumers.
