Sr. Product Manager - Tech, Customer Experience and Business Trends
Description Amazon's Customer Experience and Business Trends (CXBT) organization is seeking a Senior Product Manager - Technical (PMT) to shape the future of Artificial Intelligence (AI) through the customer experience lens. Do you want to contribute to Amazon’s latest Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) efforts, with a focus on the agentic system builder experience? We're seeking a scientifically-inclined Sr. PMT to join our emerging team working with Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) and AWS AI & Data leadership to deliver innovative and performant products to customers of AI worldwide. This role is called to dive deep into current and future customer needs, and deliver actionable insights that drive development of continuously improving AWS models, products, and features. Primary deliverables are reports with narratives that cover both the qualitative and quantitative aspects, and ultimately push the AWS teams behind AI-driven products like Amazon Bedrock and Amazon Q to deliver the best customer experience. The role requires above all to stay on top of AI developments at a deep technical level, while cultivating an understanding of the areas where customers stand to benefit the most. The candidate we will welcome on the team excels at influencing stakeholders without formal authority, across a wide range of technical profiles and seniority levels. They write with crystal-clear precision, and their verbal communication is crisp and concise. As a Sr. PMT, they tirelessly advocate on behalf of customers and escalate immediately when they believe course correction is needed. They also hold everyone to the highest standards, yet are known to hold themselves to even higher standards. Key job responsibilities - Own study lifecycle from scoping, to execution, to delivery of findings and recommendations to AGI and AWS leadership - Continuously absorb and share knowledge about the latest product and scientific developments relevant to the Machine Learning (ML)/AI space - Contribute to team study roadmap by synthesizing AWS product plans, customer needs, and industry trends - Design and build proof of concept experiments that best describe the quality of the customer experiences powered by ML/AI - Create product/feature proposals to scale and automate the process of evaluating those customer experiences - Write business and technical requirements to be met by AI evaluation product/features prioritized for development by CXBT About the team Customer Experience and Business Trends (CXBT) is an organization made up of a diverse suite of functions dedicated to deeply understand and improve customer experience, globally. Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree - 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience - Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product - Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition - Experience with end to end product delivery - Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product - Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning Preferred Qualifications - Graduate Degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related technical field. - MBA or Master's Degree in business. - Excellence in technical communication across all seniority levels - Experience with AI/ML, including GenAI and LLMs. - Experience with AWS services. - Proficiency coding app prototypes and manipulating datasets using cloud provider SDKs and languages/tools such as Python, Spark, SQL. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
