Key job responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of a consumer-focused product strategy
- Develop crisp business requirements and user stories
- Manage prioritization and trade-offs among customer experience, performance, and operational support load
- Create buy-in for the product vision with stakeholders
- Work closely with engineering teams and program management to deliver products to market
- Drive product launches by working with engineering, architecture, design, program management, marketing, PR, customer support, release management, and other teams
- Proactively identify and resolve issues that may impair the team’s ability to meet goals
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver solutions for customers and for the business
- Analyze data to identify key challenges and opportunities and drive decision-making
A day in the life
- Own team backlog and prioritize according to the business and customer problems we need to solve
- Leverage qualitative and quantitative data to inform these priorities
- Define the problem to solve, possible solutions, and requirements in clear, concise documentation
- Work with engineering leads, architects, designers, customer support, marketing, packaging, and PR to deliver a wholistic customer experience
- Attend and lead team meetings
- Coordinate deliverables with product teams across the business for cross-team projects
About the team
Video Monitoring is responsible for Virtual Security Guard and other services within Ring, part of the larger Amazon Devices Group. The team is close-knit with an extensive background in the security, monitoring, and smart home space. It is a friendly, collaborative culture passionate about delivering the right customer experiences. Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience managing technical products or online services
- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree
- Experience in an operational environment developing, fast-prototyping, piloting and launching analytic products

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
