Sr. Product Marketing Manager - DSP Acquisition Marketing, DSP Acquisition
The Americas Deliver Service Partner (Americas DSP) team partners with entrepreneurial individuals who manage their own delivery businesses (DSPs) across the US, Canada, Brazil, and Mexico. Together, we build sustainable and scalable delivery capacity so that Amazon can continue to delight customers with fast, efficient, and bar raising fulfillment of their orders. Americas DSP’s North Star goal is to improve DSP Quality. Quality partners operate safely and reliably, meet performance standards, take a long-term view of their business relationship with Amazon as they engage with the program, adhere to program policies, and manage healthy businesses.

The Sr. Product Marketing Manager, DSP Acquisition is responsible for developing, testing, and deploying marketing tactics to attract the right leads to apply to become new DSP owners. Their main objective is to find DSP candidates who will quickly ramp up their businesses to consistently perform above the Quality bar, when and where we need them in an effective and efficient way.

Working backwards from Amazon’s capacity needs, the Sr. Product Marketing Manager, DSP Acquisition defines the strategy for delivering those Quality leads in the locations where they are needed, when they are needed. This involves planning ahead and building forecast variability into their planning framework.
Once targets are planned, and based on the pipeline status, the Sr. Product Marketing Manager, DSP Acquisition will identify where additional leads are needed, and is responsible for planning and executing the tactics required to fill the top of the pipeline. The Sr. Product Marketing Manager, DSP Acquisition owns the allocation of the marketing budget to attract the right candidate profiles.

The Sr. Product Marketing Manager, DSP Acquisition understands the negative implications of launching the wrong DSP owner and therefore obsesses over bringing owner leads who will raise the bar. To that end, they manage a bulletproof process and constantly aim to improve it. They drive to automate every step that can be automated and, where they rely on others taking action, they create mechanisms to ensure consistent delivery with the highest standards and they audit frequently. They experiment and test new tactics to continuously improve the top of funnel effectiveness and efficiency. Over time, the Sr. Product Marketing Manager, DSP Acquisition will optimize our marketing tactics to focus on channels to develop higher quality candidates at lower acquisition cost.

This is not an operations role.

Key job responsibilities
As a Sr. Product Marketing Manager, DSP Acquisition, you will partner with another team member and with multiple stakeholders (business development managers, marketing agencies, Amazon's creative garage, the tech team, the science team) to drive the Last Mile DSP external candidate pipeline for the program. Your ultimate goals are: i) Providing the business with the quality DSP leads it needs, exactly when and where it needs them in spite of ever-changing forecasts. ii) Increasingly target leads who will raise the bar, performing better than 50% of the existing network. To achieve these, your key responsibilities will be:

• Lead the planning and implementation of innovative campaigns to acquire DSP owner quality leads. Test and learn.
• Utilize data-driven insights to optimize campaigns across various channels, the DSP website, and the upper funnel.
• Act as a main POC for the DSP Acquisition team on marketing topics.
• Conduct ongoing customer and market research and help manage testing that optimizes each initiative and develop new ideas across channels
• Design the mechanisms to meet long-term business goals.
• Define the long-term strategy and plan for DSP Acquisition Marketing. Distill diverse inputs from large customer segments and stakeholders to set a vision, design a strategy, and achieve consensus on priorities.
• Trust but verify. Create mechanisms that ensure every party involved executes your plan in alignment with the highest standards.
• Influence others, drive change with internal and external organizations to unblock the DSP Acquisition marketing team so they can deliver for our customers.
• Define and implement bulletproof data structures and processes that eliminate mistakes and ensure high-quality outputs
