Sr. Product Mgr. - Tech, Global Talent Development
Description Amazonian Leadership Experiences (ALX) is looking for a Sr. Product Manager - Tech to lead Global Talent Development, and broaden how we think about skill and behavior development of employees around the globe. In this role, you’ll be the product leader for Growth Experiences at Amazon. You'll craft working backwards documents for large, complex problems and develop products that accelerate an employee's development in various states of growth (i.e., onboarding, transitioning roles, becoming a people manager, growing in current role). You'll help build Gen AI solutions that offer employees personalized learning recommendations, reduce cognitive load, and help employees be more productive. We are looking for a seasoned product manager with a passion for the Amazon employee experience to reimagine growth, and identify the products we need to build to facilitate it. The ideal candidate will be highly analytical and skilled in working in a global matrixed environment. Key stakeholders include engineering, other PXT product teams, managers, employees, and a variety of HR tech teams. Key job responsibilities · Own the vision, strategy and roadmap for Your Growth and develop the strategy to expand it into the full employee lifecycle · Create buy-in for the product/feature/service vision and strategy both internally and with key partners · Define product and service features and business requirements to deliver on the strategy and vision · Manage prioritization and trade-offs among customer experience, site performance and operational support load · Drive internal product launches including working with global teams · Proactively identify and resolve issues that may impair the team's ability to meet strategic and technical goals · A true hands-on approach as well as the ability to successfully monitor the "pulse" of the manager and employee feedback to continue to improve the experience · Experience with rapid and complex changing work environment, including rapid growth · The ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously - orientated on results · Bias for action, strong work ethic, and desire to achieve excellence · Must be able to interface at all levels of the organization · The ability to translate a passion for the employee experience into tangible improvements Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree - Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition - Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product - Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product - Experience managing technical products or online services - Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning - Strong written communication skills. Able to present big ideas to leaders 2-3 levels above. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
