As a BI and Data Engineering Product Owner, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our data-driven initiatives. Your role involves working closely with stakeholders to understand business needs, defining product vision, and ensuring the successful delivery of BI and data engineering projects. The Product Owner will also be responsible for managing the product backlog, prioritizing features, and ensuring that the team delivers high-quality solutions that meet business objectives.
This position must report to either the SHI Somerset, NJ, or Austin, TX, office locations as determined by SHI management.

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and define business requirements for BI and data engineering solutionsDevelop and maintain a product roadmap that aligns with business goals and objectivesPrioritize and manage the product backlog, ensuring that the team is working on the most valuable featuresWork closely with the development team to ensure that requirements are clearly understood and implemented correctlyConduct regular reviews and demos with stakeholders to gather feedback and ensure that the product meets their needsMonitor and report on the progress of BI and data engineering projects, ensuring that they are delivered on time and within budgetIdentify and mitigate risks that could impact the successful delivery of BI and data engineering solutionsStay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in BI, data engineering, and data analytics Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related fieldMinimum 7+ years as a Product Owner or similar role in BI or data engineeringStrong understanding of BI tools and technologies, such as Microsoft Power BI, SQL Server, and data warehousingExperience with Agile methodologies and working in a Scrum environment is a plusExperience with data lakes and cloud-based BI and data engineering solutions, such as Azure Required Skills Experience with data modeling and ETL processesKnowledge of data governance and data quality best practicesFamiliarity with cloud-based BI and data engineering solutions, such as Azure or AWSExcellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholdersStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions Unique Requirements CSPO certification is preferred but not required Additional Information The estimated annual pay range for this position is $110,000 - $165,000. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual.
