The Senior Product Owner role is at the heart of product development teams, steering the creation and enhancement of products by translating business strategy into actionable tasks.  You will be at the forefront of our product development process, collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to define and drive the vision and strategy for our products. The Senior Product Owner will work within the Product Management team to support the product needs.  

   

This position must report to either the SHI Somerset, NJ, or Austin, TX, office locations as determined by SHI management.

Include, but not limited to:  

 

Define and articulate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, ensuring alignment with company goals. Close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure that product goals align with user needs and company objectives. Develop, prioritize, and maintain a comprehensive product backlog that reflects the strategic direction. Write clear and detailed user stories and acceptance criteria that accurately capture customer needs and requirements. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and prioritize requirements, ensuring they align with business objectives. Work closely with development teams to ensure a shared understanding of user stories and requirements, facilitating successful product delivery. Act as the primary point of contact for all product-related inquiries, ensuring effective communication between stakeholders and development teams. Apply deep knowledge of Agile principles and extensive experience in Agile/Scrum environments. Execute on complex products, managing interdependencies and driving a successful roadmap. Oversee product development and evaluate progress at each iteration. Confidently manage high-level, high-risk products, focusing on delivering significant value and enforcing continuous feedback cycles with the teams. Handle complex, multi-tiered products and projects. Provide leadership in delivering value by understanding the business and its high-impact products.  Drive consistent value for the company on major products and processes. Qualifications (External) 7+ years' experience in driving product vision, roadmap, design, communication   Bachelor's Degree or relevant work experience required   7+ years' experience with Agile principles, leading scrums, building user stories, writing specifications, and managing team resources  Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or relevant work experience required   Minimum 7+ years' experience in driving product vision, roadmap, design, communication   Minimum 7+ years' experience with Agile principles, leading scrums, building user stories, writing specifications, and managing team resources  Required Skills Knowledge of Agile principles  Experience in leading scrums, building user stories, writing specifications, and managing team resources   Understanding what is required to create a successful application   Understanding of SHI systems from a technical and business perspective   Ability to manage and arrange sprints  Ability to advocate for your ideas and influence people at all levels across a wide variety of job functions    Unique Requirements CSPO certification is preferred but not required  Additional Information The estimated annual pay range for this position is $110,000 - $165,000. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual.
