Professional Staff Nurse
Unit: Inpatient Chemical Dependency (4M)
Status: Full time (typically 36hrs/wk)

Responsibilities:

Supports ongoing education by sharing research, leading discussions, and presenting materials. Serves as a role model and leader in clinical expertise, teaching, or evidence-based practice. Provides constructive feedback, engages in peer review, and promotes positive change in patient care. Actively participates in shared governance and hospital-wide councils. Builds strong relationships, promotes cultural awareness, and fosters a healthy work environment. Uses the nursing process to create holistic, patient-centered care plans. Demonstrates critical thinking in assessing clinical, social, and psychological patient needs. Identifies and leads quality improvement initiatives using evidence-based practice. Drives innovation in patient care and workplace improvements through collaboration and leadership
