The Senior Program Engineer (SPE) is accountable for providing technical oversight and coordination of all engineering activities within their discipline and assigned projects. This role involves guiding the development of system architectures, integration of design elements, and the implementation of project-specific technical strategies. The SPE will oversee and support cross-functional teams, potentially comprising internal staff and external engineering resources, to ensure the successful technical execution of the project. Acting as the primary technical liaison, they will facilitate communication among various departments, including systems engineering, design engineering, project management, field installation teams, suppliers, and clients. Additionally, they will ensure alignment of engineering progress with the overall project timeline, oversee resource assignments, and promote effective communication and coordination with the Project Manager.

Responsibilities:Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of client technical standards and specifications to guide project execution.Collaborate in crafting and implementing a tailored engineering strategy for assigned projects.Provide support in resource planning and timeline development that aligns with the project's scope and objectives.Qualify reviews and coordinate design efforts to ensure compliance with technical requirements.Act as the primary technical point of contact for clients and stakeholders, facilitating clear communication and effective problem resolution within their discipline.Oversee and support contract modifications and efficiently process change orders while ensuring strict adherence to customer specifications.Provide supervision and support to Project Leads in the procurement and timely delivery of project materials and components, aligning with project schedules and quality standards.Oversee commissioning and testing activities, ensuring compliance with all technical standards and documentation requirements.Compile, manage, and ensure the accuracy and completeness of project documentation to foster a culture of precision and accountability.Communicate proactively and effectively to enhance collaboration across teams and departments.Manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing project priorities, demonstrating agile leadership and decision-making.

Travel Requirements:Travel Expectations between 35% - 50%

The base salary range for this role is $87,600 to $131,300.  This base salary range represents the low and high end of the base salary range for this position. Actual base salary offered will vary based on various factors including but not limited to location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and performance.
