Support the business group by providing senior-level business support, including CALEA compliance, NSA compliance, and day-to-day management of the department business processes and quality standards to meet regulatory and Company requirements. Manage program level tasks and contribute to Law Enforcement Relations (LER) systems strategies and implementation for a through the application of broad system and business process expertise. Serve as a lead for specific capital and operational projects; this role is ultimately responsible for planning and preparation for any change that impacts the LER systems experience. Interact with Frontline, Engineering, Government Affairs, External, and other collaborator departmental leadership teams and act as a liaison between cross-functional technical and Frontline organizations to secure alignment of system requirements, design strategies, and successful implementations from concept through launch and continuous improvement. The successful candidate will support compliance activity governed by the Network/National Security Agreement and therefore must be a U.S. citizen and maintain a security clearance.
What you’ll do in your role.
Performs Tier 1 and Tier 2 troubleshooting of highly technical network issues involving telephonic switches, servers and VPNs and assists Network Engineering with testing, maintenance and implementation of network elements for compliance with company CALEA obligations. In partnership with the business and cross-functional partners, provide business and technical subject matter expertise to lead medium to large complexity programs delivering on LER systems strategy across multiple systems.Communicate with executive leadership, business partners, and stakeholders on program status and cross-functional issues and escalations impacting the program and/or production systems. This includes managing contracts and vendors as a liaison between management and vendor/partners on contract development, execution and vendor management.Create and manage project teams and cross-functional teams supplying reporting on programs to major partners (internal and external). Works with other program managers and management to identify and address cross-project dependences.Mentor, provide strategic and tactical direction, exert positive influence, and serve as an issue resource to LER Team Members, including Management.Develop and implement process controls ensuring department compliance with corporate and regulatory standards. Bring changes and suggestions from each program and sub-program to help improve and develop standard methodologies. Manages change within the programs and evaluates risks and assesses potential impacts on program delivery.Also responsible for other Duties/Projects as assigned by business management as needed.The experience you’ll bring.
Bachelors Degree preferred - Information Technology, Telecommunications, Radio Frequency Engineering, Business Process Management or related field.4-7 years - Experience in organizational programs, project management, business process management or related area.2-4 years - Telecommunications experience within Engineering or Lawful Intercept.2-4 years - Program management experience.Must be willing and able to obtain Secret level security clearance held by the U.S. Department of Justice. Such clearance requires U.S. citizenship as well as an enhanced background check involving the candidate’s criminal, financial, social and work history.Knowledge of Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA) standards• At least 18 years of age
