Summary

The Sr. Program Manager (PM) oversees the execution of company programs including cost, schedule, and technical performance. The Senior PM manages program life-cycle and manages all activities necessary to meet business goals and objectives, and acts as mentor to other Program Managers. Acting as the central focal point and authority for multiple Programs' execution, the Senior PM provides a single point of contact for program activities to both internal and external customers.

Position Responsibilities

Support or lead in the development of program planning and estimating for complex Programs. Manages all aspects of planning multiple Program plansEnsure customer alignment and manage overall customer satisfactionDefinition, implementation, and management of program controls and success criteriaIdentify, analyze, and manage all program-level riskMonitors data across multiple programs establishing correlation. Publishes data to support improvements in product development and customer relationsEstablish, communicate, and manage program prioritiesCreates, manages, or leads in the creation and management of multiple project schedules in the support of a multiple ProgramsLead program meetings and program reviews with the customer and executive staffDevelop and maintain program plans including budget, Estimate at Completion (EAC), resource allocation, and communicationsLeads and supports the creation and maintenance of product requirementsManage potential changes in program scope and advise leadership and customer of potential impactActively support the Business Development team in bidding and capturing opportunitiesOversee the preparation of cost and technical proposals and ensure adherence to Company policies and processesLeads other PMs and functional leads to produce relevant Program reportsOther duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience)

Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering related field is required or equivalent combination of education, training, and experienceMinimum 12 - 15 years of experience in Program ManagementProven track record of leading multiple, concurrent programsExperienced managing firm fixed price programs and developing risk management & mitigation plansStrong knowledge of Project Management methods, tools and processesMust be able to interface effectively with internal teams as well as government and commercial customersKnowledge of use and application of export licenses for the export of military products to foreign countriesProficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Project)A strong communicator able to articulate vision/mission to teamOther competencies: Strong verbal and written skills; analytical and strategic thinking ability; leadership skills; very strong work ethic as well as honesty, trustworthiness and high integrity; well versed at agile SW methodology and reporting.Some travel required (up to 20%)

Other Qualifications & Desired Competencies

PMI (or equivalent) certification is preferredActive Secret or Top Secret Security Clearance strongly desiredExperience with Unmanned Aircraft Systems preferredUnderstanding of how US Government Program Executive Offices (PEOs) operate is preferredManaging of International (ex-US) programs preferredExperience in a highly technical environment preferredCourageous and a risk taker. Physical Demands

The salary range for this role is:

$153,308 - $217,140

This position requires access to information that is subject to compliance with the International Traffic Arms Regulations (“ITAR”) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (“EAR”).
