The Senior Program Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and controlling the Strategic and High-Priority programs across Foot Locker's Global Technology Services domain. As a member of GTS' Technology Strategy and Operations team, you will help provide each of our enterprise programs with extensive cross-functional organization support through collaboration and creative problem-solving skills. Programs will be executed utilizing Foot Locker's Project Methodology, which is based on Agile principles and the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) Standards.
Task and Schedule Management: The Sr. Program Manager is expected to be able to create written plans to manage and track tasks across multiple initiatives. When planning the work, the Sr. Program Manager must use their technical knowledge and solicit input from the technical staff, business units, and other IT support areas to ensure the timeframes and expectations are realistic. It is expected that the Sr. Program Manager will develop resource plans necessary to complete programs and work with the Managers to provide those resources.
Communication & Stakeholder Management: It is expected that the Sr. Program Manager frequently polls the program team for the status of activities, providing that status to business and IT management in a timely and accurate manner while reviewing the tasks to ensure completeness, the validity of results, and compliance with Foot Locker Project methodology. Interact with program stakeholders to ensure all involved know the status and potential issues. Develop a positive partnership with the user community and program stakeholders. Any problems that could or will impact the overall program milestones are escalated quickly.
Accountability: The associates assigned to program tasks must understand their responsibilities and priorities and be accountable for completing the tasks with a high degree of quality within the established timeframes. In cases where unacceptable performance levels are observed, they must be communicated through proper channels. Ensuring all program users and stakeholders share accountability for their impact on these programs is vital to our continued success.
Leadership: Senior Program Managers serve as leaders for their program staff. This individual establishes the vision for the program team, relates the vision to achievable goals, and champions the objectives of the Program Sponsor and Foor Locker. This ideal candidate will be proactive in anticipating needs and securing the resources necessary to achieve the established goals and objectives.
Responsibilities Develop program plans to minimize cost and implementation risks. Provide communication, documentation, and everyday management of programs, while ensuring that all risks, timelines, budget, and scope are managed.Initiate, plan, execute, monitor/control and close programs. Perform quality assurance and risk management. Program budget and scheduling estimation and management Manage program team members.Engage with stakeholders and manage internal, external, and third-party relationships. Conduct status review meetings with team members and clients Provide reports and documentation on program stage and progress.

Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, and/or related field 5 years minimum of leading programs in an enterprise PMO, with at least 2 years of experience leading multiple technology program initiatives.Proficient with Microsoft Project.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated stakeholder management skills. Experience managing resources in a matrix organization. Experience in vendor sourcing and management preferred. BenefitsThe annual base salary range is $90000 - $140000 / yr. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive short term incentives that align with individual and company performance. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
