Overview A Program Manager at GB is responsible for multiple large projects to ensure they are on budget, schedule, scope and quality. The Program Manager will work from inception through deployment and change management till handing over to support. The Program manager will manage significant, multi-disciplinary programs and projects. Some key responsibilities are noted below; Specializes in the management of a cross functional team which works on significant projects through scheduling, prioritizing, expectation setting, and cost management. Establishes and implements project management processes and methodologies for the IT community to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high-quality standards and meet customer expectations. Manages technical and nontechnical aspects of the project. Assembles project teams and manages resource allocation and day-to-day project operations. Manages communications for relevant stakeholders for each project Provides logistical project support, risk management, and progress reporting. Manages a team consisting of Project managers and Business Analysts towards delivery of multiple projects Implementing IT function and Division policies and strategies Handling problems that are difficult and moderately complex. Influencing others outside of own function regarding IT policies, practices and procedures. Interfacing with other leaders and stakeholders within IT and throughout the business" How you'll make an impact Additional Responsibilities: For some projects, the person needs to act as a Project Manager with PM responsibilities noted below: Maintain project artifacts such as project plan including budget, schedule and resources Interfaces with business owners and SMEs to facilitate requirements gathering and UAT / Change management during deployment phase Constant communication with project sponsor on project progress, issues and mitigation Maintain key project artifacts such as plans in Planview, weekly and monthly project status updates Evaluates project request in terms of strategic direction of Business and opportunities to leverage existing technologies/applications. Proactively identifies and champions opportunities to further streamline improve business process. Operationally trouble shoots complex issues, co-ordinates integration of various modules and ensures compliance with expected quality standards Clarifies scope, and recommends alternative solutions, project strategy and deliverable prioritization. Manages all communication with business users; keeps users informed and updated regularly. Adapts project updates/presentations to audience. Participates in multiple key initiatives simultaneously. Ability to drive consensus among various stakeholders, including technology management and third parties Ability to lead process improvement initiatives and to collaborate effectively with technology, application, compliance, and audit personnel at multiple levels Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously Ability to work at a fast pace and cope with conflicting deadlines Skills: Excellent analytical and problem solving skills/critical thinking. Strong leadership and relationship skills Effective stakeholder management: communication, negotiation, direct/indirect influencing techniques, run productive meetings. Polished documentation practices: ability to assimilate large amounts of information, identify salient details and vary presentation based on audience. Clear and confident presentation skills. Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. About You Required: Bachelor's degree 7+ years related Project management experience required Experience producing detailed project schedules and resource requirements Exceptional verbal and written communication skills – must be comfortable speaking and writing to C-level audiences, as well as technical audiences Extensive experience in project reporting, including executive level briefing Preferred: PMP certification preferred #LI-NP1 Compensation and benefits On top of a competitive salary, great teams and exciting career opportunities, we also offer a wide range of benefits.
