Sr. Program Manager

Working with project teams within IT, business and cross-functional teams – this includes helping teams align on milestones and goals, effective communication and ensuring projects remain on-track
Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure successful project delivery
Facilitate meetings and working sessions with IT and app teams
Help teams develop and manage project activities including but not limited to scope, timelines, budgets and resources
Working knowledge of SharePoint is a plus
The Program Manager defines the objectives and develops suitable strategies for the program. The career progression begins with assignments to formulate, organize, and monitor inter-connected projects and gradually shift towards assessing program performance in order to maximize ROI, controlling deadlines, budgets, etc. and evaluating project managers and other staff. '-Plans the delivery of the overall program and its activities in accordance with the mission and goals of the organization. -Develops an annual budget and operating plan to support the program. -Ensures that program activities operate within the policies and procedures of the organization. -Ensures that program activities comply with all relevant legislation and professional standards. -Oversees the collection and maintenance of records on the clients of the program for statistical purposes according to the confidentiality/privacy policy of the organization. -Supervises program staff by providing direction, input, and feedback. -Coordinates the delivery of services among different program activities to increase efficiency. -Monitors and approves all budgeted program expenditures. '-Develops and implements long-term goals and objectives to achieve successful outcome of program. -Develops a program evaluation framework to assess the strengths of the program and to identify areas for improvement. -Interviews and selects well-qualified program staff. -Establishes and implements a performance management process for all program staff. -Ensures all staff members receive orientation and appropriate training in accordance with organizational standards. -Monitors cash flow projections. Manages all project funds according to established accounting policies and procedures. '-Develops new initiatives to support the strategic direction of the organization. -Develops funding proposals for the program to ensure the continuous delivery of services. -Implements the human resources policies, procedures and practices of the organization. -Communicates with clients and other stakeholders to gain community support for the program and to solicit input to improve the program. -Ensures financial reports and supporting documentation for funders are prepared as outlined in funding agreements. -Identifies and evaluates the risks associated with program activities and take appropriate action to control the risks
