Job DescriptionRoles and Responsibilities:
A successful candidate will create an inclusive, positive, and empowering team environment, while leading global and cross-functional teams. A successful candidate will also balance multiple projects simultaneously and drive clear decisions based on business objectives.
Ensuring that the product development process abides to the Quality Management System, Phased Review Discipline, and regulatory needs of the applicable markets.
Executing project plans according to committed timelines and within regulatory and quality guidelines and processes, including coordination of all cross-functional tasks and deliverables to meet quality, deployment, performance, and productivity goals.
Working with the Product Managers and Business team to plan and execute projects based on product roadmaps and business needs.
Developing project plans and driving execution of program milestones for Design, Development, Maintenance, or Manufacturing transfer programs.
Leading the cross-functional program core team to establish an integrated plan to deliver the program per program team commitment and driving for timely program execution.
Working with the Quality, Regulatory, and Service teams to deliver quality products on time, within budget and with the necessary improvements.
Working with the functional engineering leadership team to grow functional and domain expertise within the team.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree within appropriate Engineering/Science discipline.
Minimum of 5 years of experience developing, leading, driving and commercializing new product introduction and/or product change projects/programs.
Minimum of 5 years of experience working with cross-functional teams demonstrating strong influencing and communication skills.
Desired Characteristics:
Master's Degree is desired
PMP certification
Working knowledge of Agile methodologies
Demonstrated knowledge of Lean processes and tools
Attention to detail and ability to work independently toward timely completion of a variety of assignments.
Demonstrated ability to own and drive daily execution and burn down of critical tasks needed to meet the program timelines.
Creative problem solver and solution developer when presented with conflicting requirements, business demands and technical risks/issues
Knowledge of GE Healthcare tools and processes (engineering, sourcing, supply chain such as PDM, Oracle, MyWorkshop)
Previous experience working with regulated medical product development
Ability to develop unique concepts/solutions for complex products
Change agent with energy, passion, and enthusiasm to drive change
Demonstrated effective interpersonal, networking, and teamwork skills with internal (cross-functional) and external (supplier) customers
Demonstrated problem solving ability and ability to drive results
Demonstrated ability to meet business commitments and committed schedules
