JOB SUMMARY:
The Commercial Fleet team at 7-Eleven manages a diverse portfolio of fleet payments and programs leveraged to drive B2B traffic to our network of over 8,000 retail fuel locations. The team also manages the 7FLEET Diesel Network, a collection of nearly 500 7-Eleven®, Speedway® and Stripes® stores meeting the needs of professional truck drivers in 26 states. The Sr Program Manager of Fleet Operations is a role focused on fleet payment execution and customer experience across our diverse network of retail fuel locations. The responsibilities require a deep understanding of our various POS configurations and payment settlement processes to ensure a positive fleet customer experience. This role works closely with many internal and external partners to act as a SME for the group on all components of fleet payment functionality.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
Solution driven and detail oriented with the curiosity to consider multiple possibilities to solve a problem, and the confidence to present those solutions in a clear and concise manner that promotes consensus from the team.
Supports Fleet sales growth through the ownership of a positive Fleet customer experience from the POS on site through to payment settlement.
Responsible for strategy, roadmap, and implementation planning of relevant POS hardware and software projects, fuel equipment, and payment processing solutions. These initiatives are to improve our ability to serve commercial customers, empower our internal sales team, and enable our 3rd party proprietary fleet card programs.
Execute POS and fleet payment strategies across a portfolio of business that streamlines workflows and supports commercial payment innovation with RIS & DEX developments or integrations.
Leverages industry intelligence to propose opportunities to management to improve the Commercial Fleet business and competitive position via cost savings, improved customer experience and loyalty, more competitive offerings, etc;
Strong collaboration and teamwork skills to represent Fleet on complicated projects that deliver results.
Own the role of SME and liaison for the Commercial Fleet department across multiple internal and external partners including IT, Digital, Treasury, Accounting, various fleet payment providers and POS vendors.
