The ideal candidate has prior experience: leading, designing and managing a group of specific functional projects focused on efficiency, optimization, productivity, and cost savings. The position will be based in Boise, ID.

Main responsibilities
Manage a group of related cross functional projects to achieve strategic goals and objectives (6-15). Develop and maintain program plan for strategic alignment. Monitor program performance and identify risks and issues. Provide guidance and direction to project teams where warranted to ensure project alignment and program objectives. Communicate regularly with stakeholders to keep them informed and engaged. Support Leadership’s long-term strategic vision, plans, and priorities. Work closely with the Program Management Organization (PMO) within the Center of Excellence to align and adopt project management best practices, including the proficient use of standardized tools, templates, technologies, and methodologies. Lead and facilitate cross functional meetings, status updates, pipeline planning, resource allocation and the prioritization of critical path activities.A copy of the full job description can be made available to you.
What we are searching for
Bachelor's degree in related Business field 3+ years of Program Manager experience 8+ years of Project Manager experience 5+ years of experience working on large scale initiatives. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; equally skilled at communicating with technical and non-technical audiences; comfortable presenting and speaking to a variety of audiences including co-workers, senior level, and executive-level leaders. Demonstrated ability working strategically and collaborating across departments, Well-organized, detail oriented, thriving in a fast-paced environment. Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple, dynamic priorities with strong sense of urgency; capable of delivering under pressure; the ability to prioritize multiple tasks, meeting all deadlines and expectations. Strong analytical and excellent problem-solving skills Strong financial acumen Advanced level skill in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Visio Understanding of lean and process improvement principles (i.e., Lean Six Sigma). Retail industry experience preferred. PgMP (Program Management Professional) preferred. Willingness to travel periodically internationally and domestically up to 25%What is it like at Albertsons?
